Introductions are always so awkward. I find it so easy to write about just about anything except about myself. I am a mother, a wife and a teacher in that order! I am a lover of words, both writing and reading. I work with middle and high schoolers and thus, tend to write teen fiction. I prefer to read historical fiction and the kind of fantasy genre that is set in the past (kind of like Game of Thrones) but really read just about anything. Some of my favorite books are Adored, The Hunger Games series, Summer Sisters, the A Song of Ice and Fire series, Queen of the Tearling series, The Red Queen series, The Saxon Stories, any historical fiction about the Tudors and Plantagenets, and anything by Ellen Hopkins or Jodi Picoult! Just to name a few ;)
