The young countess,  preoccupied reading a novel, was far too consumed within the story to hear Sebastian rapping his knuckles on the door. Maria, exasperated by the sound of the butler's persistent knocking, sighed and simply said. "Come in."

Sebastian did so, revealing the wine-eyed butler in his usual attire, along with a mysterious stranger. "Young Mistress," he began, motioning towards the said stranger. "They have come to visit you."

"Well then," she began, a sincere smile beginning to grace her features- clapping her hands as she rose up from her lavish seat. "Please take a seat, dear guest- I apologize for the wait. And oh, Sebastian," the countess cooed towards the raven-haired demon. "If you can, please make some snacks and tea for our guest and I."

"Yes, Young Mistress," he bowed, leaving the room.

"Good day, my guest," she greeted cheerfully. "I am Countess Maria Agnes Isabelle Phantomhive, but I am sure you know that," she joked with a chuckle. "Now, tell me, dear guest, who might you be? I'd be very interested to learn about you."
