Back to updating Birth of the Raven now that I finished the rough draft.
          	
          	Update schedule should be Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Might fall behind just because I'm crazy busy these days.

          The amount of characters introduced in the first chapter (and in the story as a whole) is something that I worry about myself, so it was kind of nice to have somebody else point that out. Definitely something to consider in my next round of editing, so thank you. =)

@CrazyMorbidity I think the reason I originally introduced so many was that it was a fan fiction at the time -- all of my readers already knew who the entire band were, so I didn't need to do much of an introduction for any of them. Obviously that doesn't work as well when I change it to an original story! =P Definitely going to work on that. 
            
            It's not a story for everybody, and I entirely understand that. =) I appreciate your honesty, and the fact that you still left fantastic, detailed comments despite this. <3

Yeah, I've encountered the notion of keep the characters to as few as possible when in the beginning of the story. I can't argue against the notion; it makes sense. I personally don't mind as long as I can distinguish the characters (positions and roles actually serve better than names... How many are bad at names?) and it makes sense in the situation. But as for how many characters occur in the story... Bah. Isn't it more realistic for more characters to occur?
            
            Yeah, I mostly wanted to point out that I couldn't connect to the characters (which is my primary concern in any story) because that would impact how I could remark on the chapter. I can't argue against the situation you have involved. It's very realistic and a situation worth a story. Just not one of my preference.

Thanks for the follow! I also added Birth of the Raven to my library. I can't wait to read it. I just need to finish one of my other stories first... Your art's really good! I want to draw little character sketches for each of mine, but I've been putting it off for so long... I need to take a page from your book and just do it :P

Wow! I wish I could already have my degree... I'm already 3 years in and feel like quitting  I know I won't though. I can't make a living otherwise... Can't wait to see the final! I bet it'll be even better than before 
            
            Take your time. I'm in no rush. I actually entered Destiny Awaits into a few contests for undiscovered writers to see how well it does, so I'm pretty much editing it and waiting for the results. I had also asked a few people to review it a few weeks ago, so I could get better

Thanks! Well, I'm a masters art student and for my thesis, I'm doing a concept art book and decided on doing it on this story. So I've got no choice now. XD Also... there should be more coming out because the final designs have changed.
            
            I will be finishing reading another story myself before I get around to yours, though it is open because I'm close to done with the other.
