(I'm not dead, I promise. And I have been writing. Slowly. But, man, I wrote myself into a very boring corner. Word for the wise, kids: Write what you love and plan yo stuff better than me.)

So we're back here again. 9 months and nothing to show for it. I may as well be very clear about this.

Dimension Shuffler, since I started writing, has been very important to me. It's the first thing I've created that I can definitively say, "This is mine. I made this on my own. All this exists because of me." It's a nice feeling. These characters and worlds mean so much to me.
But it's time I face facts.
I've left it stagnant for too long and I'm not sure how long it will take me to build the momentum I once had up again. I want to keep it going. I have had so many ideas and concepts for it that I'm practically itching to write. I know where the story is headed, what I need to do and what everyone's eventual fate is. Things have been constantly going on in the background. But to write any of that, I need to finish what I'm currently working on.
And I'll be blunt, Pyrock is a story my enthusiasm has kind of dwindled for and I have no idea how to put Adventures in a place where I can call it quits. Managing and writing them both now feels a little like a chore and the ideas simply aren't coming. Four years ago, they were what I wanted to write. Today, not so much.
Don't get this wrong. I'm not saying I want to end this. I don't. I just need to figure out what I want to do. Am I willing to write another 10 chapters of something that's taken me a year to write 1? We'll see. Just don't hold your breath for results anytime soon. And if I'm wrong and you do get results, don't expect a pattern.

To anyone who has read and enjoyed Dimension Shuffler, thank you. I don't know if that applies to anyone now but, if there is anyone, I appreciate it. Really.

So... That chapter being soon was a lie...

So let's try being a little less idealistic this time.
Unfortunately, I wouldn't hold your breath for the new part soon. I am absolutely NOT abandoning this (it means too much to me) but I've something a little more important to be working on at the moment. So how's about this:
The next chapter will be out when it's out. If I feel like splicing it in amongst my other work, it could come out without warning. When it does release, I'll probably re-evaluate things from there.

Weekly Trivia - Theme: None

As you may have noticed, Dreams into Reality has been on hiatus for over a year now. As it stands right now, I have no intentions of continuing the story. A shame it may be but every nightmare will be followed by a pleasant dream eventually.
Shadow, Oracle, Harmony and Rei may return at some point but perhaps not in the way you're used to them. I won't share too much until I've got something to present, but I hope to change them into something more original and true to my vision while no longer anchoring them to the other cast. It'll be some time but hopefully it'll be worth the wait.

Furthermore, I have another little project on the side. Once again, nothing I can present yet but knowing it's there is worthy of trivia. Project: Glitter is underway.

Also, this will be the last Weekly Trivia for a while. As much as I enjoy them, there are other things I need to concentrate on soon. With my tortoise pace, there probably won't be any delay on actual chapters however. I wouldn't expect the next Trivia until June, unfortunately.

Anyway, to whoever reads this, stay safe out there!

Weekly Trivia - Theme: Easter

          - Easter combines two things Timothy loves: Fluffy creatures and Chocolate. Consequently, he absolutely adores the holiday. His older brother is less enthused when it comes to washing chocolate stains off the boy's bunny plush.

          - Orchid is not allowed to participate in Easter Egg hunts. Her sensors make hiding eggs from her impossible and she hides the goodies a bit too well for the experience to be fun for others.

          - Sylvia once attempted to make an Easter outfit made entirely from eggs. She was inspired by a life-simulator game a friend of hers plays. Unfortunately, she gave up when it turned out to be a structural and comfort impossibility.

Weekly Trivia - Theme: Instrumental

Music can help to create and plan new scenarios. Naturally, this leads to certain characters becoming associated with specific genres of music. The villains in particular have leaned into this the strongest, typically due to boss music.

          - Cosmos - Rock/Metal

          - Andre - Electronic

          - Orchid - Techno

          - Medusa - Orchestra

Weekly Trivia - Theme: Spring

          - Timothy loves Spring. It's the time of year when all the plants and animals 'wake up'. It also contains Easter, which means chocolate.

          - Sylvia finds Spring one of the best seasons to design outfits for. Her designs range from leafy dresses to fluffy rabbit coats (Don't panic, she uses faux fur.) She'd like to experiment with a non-traditional interpretation of Spring however.

          - Drez has stood on more springs than any reasonable person should. They're his version of banana peels. Toot finds it hilarious.
