Why do I write?
Every day I look to the skies and see millions of shining stars. Every single one hosts a thriving solar system with thousands of inhabitants. 
They are all beautiful in their own ways.
...
However.
Things never last do they?
I, like many, wish they could shine forever, lighting up our world. 
I'm sure these stars have their reasons, but they can't. I know they can't.
Every day it seems that the night sky is a little less bright.
Stars that were once there are no longer. 
Blown out like a fire on a candlestick.
