What is me?
Me is soft indigo blue cardigans that are to big, paperback books with torn covers and dog-eared pages, but not a single word absent, curling up to read with hot tea, me is bilingual, forgetting words in one language or sometimes both, sometimes all or nothing, and sometimes balance and somewhere in between, me is loving spring, summer, fall and winter all equally for so many different reasons, and jean skirts and frizzy hair, but only on the top. Me is rereading fanfiction, but also real life books, me is Marvel and DC, but never at the same time, spending hours on Pinterest, and Wattpad, me is last minute English assignments, completing homework in five minutes but taking thirty, because me is a Ravenclaw and gets distracted by random interesting facts, me is springing surprise hugs on absolutely everyone, debating about what clothes to wear then remembering that it doesn't matter what people think and trying not to care, smiling and saying good morning to random people on the street, delighting when they smile back and frowning when they don't. Me is me. Me is who I am, a mix of my personality, various influences, family, obnoxious siblings and experience. That is me.
