Hi, Everyone!

I've been working on a big novel called A Gate Called Narrow for more than ten years.  Finally, after so long, I'm beginning to see it coming to completion.  But I need a lot of feedback from you to see if it's anything worthy of anybody's attention.  Anybody with good language skills, please help!!

English is my 2nd language and even though I've learned quite a bit in the last few years, it's still a challenge.  My 1st language is Japanese, and I do have a few short stories written in Japanese, which I plan to share with everyone in the future.

My favorite activities are: 1.  writing, of course!  2.  Music (I teach piano)  3. painting/drawing, although I haven't had a chance to enjoy it lately.  4.  choreographing dances in my head (too old to actually dance!)  5.  sleeping (sleeping can be an activity when you dream a lot!)

My favorite books are:  1. The Persian Boy by Mary Renault, 2. Demian by Hermann Hesse, 3.  The Chosen by Chaim Potok, 4.  The Plague by Albert Camus, and the list goes on.  I read a lot of literary books, mainstream, historical fictions, memoirs, biographies, etc.  I read other genres, as long as they aren't scary or gory or vulgar.  I get spooked out easily.
