I began to read and write at a very young age. My grandfather was a storyteller. My dad was a schoolteacher ( and told wonderful stories as well ). My mother sang me lullabies. I grew up being fed on Andersen, Grimm and ( as soon as I got a library card ) Andrew Lang. I discovered mythology and folktales to round out my literary meal.  I am still addicted to the written word. I began writing fantasy at age fifteen. God gave me a talent to create and there are now towns and cities on earth as well in other places and other worlds. Besides fantasy I write poetry and the occasional essay. Although I have lived a most unusual and unique life I prefer to write fiction based in my fantasy worlds. I am, at heart ( and have been, in reality ) a flower garlands in my hair paisley attired Haight Ashburyian and a leopard print, velvet and leather wearing Hollyweirdian. 
I am a baby boomer and love my generation who will be ever young. I am Cynthia known as Cyd and have been Cidnee and Psyche in the past.  I am happily single, the oldest of seven children. We are all West Coast natives. I am the mother of two children, one is to the far left, one to the far right. I am the one caught in the middle.  I consider myself to be a Christian and also a Bohemian. These compliment each other rather than conflict with each other. I am known for being a loyal friend who gives sound advice. I am a former solo dancer who loves melodic metal and hard rock. I also like folk music, blues and sultry and torchy jazz music. I get along with members of all generations. I am excited about the idea of sharing some of my worlds with others. I would love for others to be able to collaborate with me in those worlds.
