If you get on here and see this, I'm writing because I got a call from Jane saying you called here and were concerned that my Messenger account may have been hacked.
Well, I don't use messenger at all. So if you get a message that seems to come from me, it wasn't really from me.
I've received emails saying someone I knew was trying to message me, and then found out that they hadn't sent those either. So I don't trust Messenger at all. But I've never seen any evidence that my Facebook account was involved.
So thanks for your concern, but as far as I know I'm still doing okay.
Jane gave me your phone number, so chances are you'll get a call from me before you see this.

@JimHeter Hi Jim! Hope you're doing well. That's funny because a while ago I got a Messenger from "you" that looked legit - just a hi and wave icon. Later, I got an odd looking message then again today. I challenged them and revealed they are a hacker. I wasn't sure if that meant FB was also affected. Anyway, glad you got my message.
