Thanks for adding contemporary books to you reading list.

@Andicook I have to wait for inspiration to spark something, but once I start writing, the story seems to take on a life of its own. Sometimes it amazes me that my books come from my imagination because I don't have that vivid of an imagination outside of my writing. Since I write good the fun of it and I have an adequate income, I don't mind giving my stories away and I have a much larger potential audience on Wattpad. In print form, my books would mostly stay in the US. Here I have readers from around the world.

@Andicook Yes. I'm surprised at the high quality of some of the historical fiction I've come across. Usually I find interesting things in the Undiscovered Gems section, or I'll come across an insightful remark in a comment section, and through serendipity find promising work. I've only written one thing, and discovered in so doing that writing and storytelling is hard work. There is no sure-fire template or formula, and the amount of craft one has to learn is enormous. All that being the case, it's amazing so many plunge in anyway, and are willing to release that work for free.
