I want to thank everyone who supported my writing when I was a young girl. I was a depressed child who poured my trauma into stories, and writing became my escape. Your love and encouragement carried me through some of the hardest moments of my life, and for that, I will always be grateful.
As a little girl, I never imagined that my work would reach so many people. Even through the fake accounts and the people who stole my profile picture and published stories under my name—stories I never wrote—you always brought them to my attention. Together, we built an incredible community.
Beauty & The King Beast reached over 400,000 reads. I could hardly believe it then, and I still can't believe it now.
Not long after I shared the book with family and friends, it was reported and ultimately taken down. In the process, I lost many chapters that I was never able to recover, and readers around the world lost access to the story we had all shared.
At 19 years old, while I was in college, I was devastated. A book I had spent years writing had been erased in what felt like an instant.
Although that chapter of my life ended unexpectedly, my passion for writing never did. I have continued to write, and I have since published new books that are available online through Barnes & Noble. I will share more details about that shortly.
