I am aware that some times I say things that may come off harsh, but I do so because I am a passionate human being who cannot stand the injustices of the world.
One of those major injustices would be bullying. It sickens me. I was lucky enough that I was never bullied, but I had to be there as I watched someone very close to me get the brunt of it. Because of thus said bullying, she had been forced to leave her school. All because she was a pretty girl who didn't fit in with the popular girl crowd.
I talked to her last year after she reconnected with me on Facebook. It's been years since we last spoke. I guess life has been tough for her, but at the same time she also has her own business and has since married with two kids. She's happy, and I'm glad. But she won't ever get back those years that people stole from her.
In any case, I'm rambling. I'm sick of the fact that in this day and age, when bullying has been called out for the travesty that it is, that these millennial children still think it is okay. Where are their parents? Who raised these kids? I'm disappointed in all of them, as we should be. This is a disgusting display of immature behaviour on the part of the children and their parents. Where did we go so wrong with this generation?
