I've been really on the fence about making this announcement, because it's going to make it too real for me. But I feel a certain level of responsibility to my book and to the people who read it still and I don't think it's fair that I remain silent. It's a crazy time for me rn that I am finding it extremely hard to connect with my characters. No matter how hard I try, I just can't seem to write something I feel connected to, something I am satisfied enough with wanting to put out. So I want to take a lil break. It won't be long. I have all intentions to complete Melody's Derail, but for now, I cannot. So Imma let her breathe. Thank you for reading. I couldn't have even imagined seeing the book reach this point. It's thanks to you. I'm eternally grateful.

I'm trying my best to work hard in bringing forth work that'll still keep you interested even after this...hiatus of mine. You guys are the best, Honestly. ❤️

That's really unfortunate, Ella. Like @LovelyAnnKae said, it wasn't easy to pick up that you weren't able to connect with the characters but it's okay. We understand. I hope you've been managing everything else on your side well so far. Take care of yourself. Hope to see you back soon.
