            American politics aside, you still favor the USSR because of the left lean, not because of any hypothetical smaller Geneva suggestions violation count, yk (btw if this comes off as aggressive I swear it’s not meant to be. I just know when I start panicking over a conflict I start dropping a weirdly large amount of tone tags for some reason. There is no conflict and I’m not trying to start one)

            Also because this country has so many issues that it's like... I feel like I'm shouting into the void when I talk about them so like time to write out a story that's taking it to the extreme which is weirdly not far from reality (because as an iteration of what Mark Twain said: Why shouldn’t truth be stranger than fiction? Fiction, after all, has to make sense.)

            Ehhh, not really. If that were true, Third Reich would be more of a better person and Soviet would be exceptional. But they aren't, because Reich has committed every war crime under the sun (in my perception of him) and Soviet is an idiot with unresolved issues. 
            
            That may be true, but the issue here is difference in ideology ig. America and TR are both right-leaning, whereas Soviet Union is more left-leaning. Ig it's an issue of perception because ik that the USSR did bad shit, but how would that apply to narrative? Maybe later on when shit hits the fan, but we're not there yet, ya?
            
            Also aren't most revolutions an "underdogs rise up with the help of the military" kind of story? Why can't a story with elements of global issues include that?

            I think you as an author are absolutely projecting ur personal frustrations and also creating an underdogs rise up kind of story
            Don’t get me wrong this in no way means it’s not peak
            It’s just smth I’ve noticed
            You especially focus on places you/your friends are from and places that have been colonized/invaded by the US or western powers
            Uzbekistan especially is interesting, even if she hasn’t gotten much screen time
            In the modern day, she has absolutely faced the American threat by geographical location alone
            However, historically (and in modern times even) Russia has also posed a significant threat, and yet you don’t focus on that as much (my irl Uzbek friend’s parents fled from there because of the Russian threat, and yet Uzbekistan and Russia seem to be friendly here. It’s Countryhumans so oversights/omissions are common and normal but your story errs on the side of being based off historical reality)
            Granted Russia is hospitalized as per my last read chapter so idk what bro would be doing while thugging it out
            But it is a thing I’ve noticed
            You tend to favor opponents of America in your story because they’re American opponents, rather than other reasons, though other reasons are certainly present
            The USSR, historically, has committed just as many atrocities as TR, America, any major power
            And yet in this
