Master Sergeant David J. "D.J." Mansfield is a retired United States Marine. He joined the Marines in 1995 and retired in 2015. He served with Marine Barracks Japan, Detachment Sasebo; 3rd Battalion, 1st Marines; 1st Marine Division Schools; 1st Battalion, 7th Marines; 1st Battalion, 5th Marines; the School of Infantry, Advanced Infantry Training Battalion; 1st Battalion, 9th Marines; Combat Logistics Company - 21 and the Marine Corps Tactics and Operations Group. He has spent over 7 years deployed overseas with 1 year, 6 months on naval shipping and 7 deployments completed. He served two deployments in Iraq and two deployments in Afghanistan. D.J. accomplished two Master's Degrees, as well as a successful graduate of the Expeditionary Warfare School, Command and Staff College and a multitude of other top-tier military schools while he was serving in the Marines. He has served in billets that range from basic rifleman to platoon commander at the platoon level to operations chief at the battalion level. 

D.J. retired to Irvine, California where he works full-time in his other passion as the Director of Operations for Beach Cities Scuba Centers.

D.J. is married to Tiffany Adair and has three children from a previous marriage.
