I've also written and published Invisible Me, a young adult novel, The Planck Factor, a thriller, and several short stories, one of which was nominated for a Derringer Award.

The thing that inspired me to write a lawyer-sleuth novel was that I wanted to write stories about a female protagonist who solved mysteries and did so without compromising legal ethics -- much! One of the big obstacles Sam faces in solving mysteries is doing so without using the usual private eye trickery.
