Personal: I'm a transplant from California to Texas who is married to my OTP--love at first sight that has lasted over thirty years. I've spun stories as long as I can remember (drew story panels before I could write). I finally have time to make story-telling my focus.

Writing: Fan fiction taught me how to spin stories.  I am currently finishing up two Once Upon a Time multi-chapter stories and planning an original fantasy series.  Soon I'll begin posting the fan fiction.  The original stories are works in progress.

My WIP: In the first book, The Wizard of Grouch, a jinn snatches Glasgow science teacher Tavish MacBruce to an alternate Scotland where dragons, selkies, unicorns and river goddesses are real.  Forced to take sides in a war between cousins, he finds the know-how to make crab apple batteries, boomerangs and bullhorns comes in handy.  If Tavish can defeat fourteen-year-old Lord Cullen's rivals, maybe he can convince him to use his third wish to send his wizard home.  After all, nothing could be worse for Tavish than never seeing his daughter Matilda again--unless it's leaving the beguiling minstrel Leith behind.
