Hello everybody. 
          	
          	I have left the Harry Potter fandom. This is for several reasons, including how busy I've gotten at school, but THE most important reason is as follows:
          	
          	JK Rowling is a transphobe. JK Rowling is an anti-semite. As a person who is both trans and Jewish, I find I can no longer in good conscience be in this fandom. I can no longer in good conscience contribute to the hype of a woman who is using her money and her platform to actively make life worse for my trans siblings in the UK. 
          	
          	This new Harry Potter game is literally Blood Libel the video game. Its plot reeks of anti-semitism, from the fact that goblins---even from folklore---have always been anti-semitic, to the fact that making your fantasy goblins bankers is another anti-semitic stereotype, to having a goblin artifact that is a rams horn that was used to 'annoy witches and wizards'---that's a shofar, guys. An important Jewish religious artifact. 
          	
          	I'm so tired of this. I'm so tired of people in this fandom dismissing this. So I'm leaving. 
          	
          	I'm taking down my Harry Potter fics. I'm sorry if you liked them. I appreciate all your support thus far. But people like me can't afford to be Harry Potter fans anymore. It's time for me to leave this series behind. I urge you to do your own research about JK Rowling. I urge you to stop buying Harry Potter merch. Stop going to Pottermore. Don't go to Harry Potter World. And for goodness sake, please don't play the wizard game.
          	
          	If you like the stuff I write, go find me on AO3 at FriendlyNeighborhoodNonbinary. I've got some good stuff there.
          	
          	Nothing you say will change my opinion on this. I don't need anybody trying to change my mind. I won't tolerate disrespect, anti-semitism, or transphobia. I will delete messages that fall into these categories.

@FireflyTheFangirl08 I feel the same way as you. It is sad about what came out, but some articles say it was manipulated and some say she’s killing gay people left and right 
          	  
          	  No sure what’s true, but not going to believe all these articles that’s for sure. If the book is ever re-published again let me know. I read it in a important time in my life so when I came back to revisit I was heartbroken, but I understand it’s their book, their decision. Enjoyed your work, sorry it had to end
