Dilia Oviedo Luciano is a multidisciplinary artist from the Dominican Republic who has had a career spanning more than a decade in the art of still photography, her work focuses on what she calls the 'psychological portrait', an idea in which she It assumes that photography reflects the inner psyche of the subject and allows us to glimpse their emotional world.

She lived in Barcelona from 2008 to 2012 studying at IDEP Barcelona, ​​an art and design school where she specialized in fashion and author portrait photography. Upon returning to the Dominican Republic at the end of 2012, she embarked on the adventure of teaching about the creative process at the Altos de Chavón school, alternating her time between the DR and New York where he went each Fashion Week season to cover the parades of brands such as Desigual, Elie Saab, BCBG, Adidas, Michael Kors, Nicole Miller and many more as part of the photographic team of the Faces of New York Fashion Week platform.

For 2018 she has a diverse portfolio of script projects, having qualified as a Semi-Finalist at the Screencraft Film Fund, Finalist for the Screencraft Fellowship and qualifies as a finalist for the first time at the Oaxaca Film Festival where she is nominated as a Breakthrough Writer.

By 2019 she begins developing short scripts to produce and direct, and she begins working with Edna Lerebours both as a talent and as part of the photographic production team. She begins to learn about the casting process by attending Vanilla.do, and qualifies for the Oaxaca Film Fest for the second time. The year concludes with projects in different stages of development.

Currently she is working or resuming all the plans put on hold by the pandemic and also creating her first story for public consumption.
