I believed that all stories are unique and in someways will entertain whoever it is targeted at, a story should not be judge simply base on one's opinion and you should only take relevant criticism into considerations. If you don't know what you want to achieve, then best come up with a vision, it's easier to get writer's block when you don't know what you want.
