I am looking for a book cover and/ or possibly three covers for a series.
The first cover I need is for Book#3
Title: Midnight Blue (Book#3)
Genre: Historical fiction/ Romance
Description: If you look at my covers on Wattpad, you will see the theme of colors in my covers. My daughter did the first two and I have done the rest. I am afraid I am almost to my limitations in graphic design. (I am 64 yrs. young)
Midnight Blue in the book is the coming storm and facing the results. Victoria Spencer wants to avenge her mother's killer and bring him to justice for murder.
Her mother Belle is an apparition in the story. I want to have a women in 1870's midnight blue gown, blond hair, hat and appear ghost like on the cover to stir intrigue.
As far as the series, I recently discovered Tess Thompson and admired her covers. I just haven't been able to make my covers look like historical romance and yet stand out from the crowd. I have published Porcelain White and Emerald Green on Amazon. New covers have been suggested.
Porcelain White follows Isabel Grant who was rejected as a mail-order bride for being "a skinny school girl" decides to stay and live independently in Redwood after growing up in seclusion in the woods. She has long porcelain white hair and wears a long navy blue dress. More prairie with the town in the distance (?) just ideas.
Emerald Green follows Victoria Spencer as she has inherited her mothers dress shop and apartment building in Redwood. She leaves St. Paul Minnesota to live in the growing frontier town of Redwood. She has long black hair and wears the latest in fashion, the traveling suit with a natural bustle in Emerald Green to match her eyes.
I am in my final edit of Midnight Blue and the book is closer to being published. But I want to put a good product and I need to improve my covers. I hope you can help me. I look forward to hearing from you.
