Alright, so for the transformers fic, the general premise revolves mostly around the Transformers One universe, so even if someone has only ever watched that piece of Transformers media, they would still understand what was happening, although the story does borrow from other continuities as well, such as G1 and IDW, among others. What’s happening is that Optimus Prime is sent back in time to occupy his body as Orion Pax, given the chance to prevent Megatron from becoming evil and stop the centuries long war, a time travel fix-it thing. Up next is lowkey spoilers but I doubt anyone here is into transformers enough to actually consider reading it, so I’ll share what happens anyway, essentially, OP fails and is unable to stop D-16 from killing Sentinel, and his trauma and mental instability causes him to freak out and run off. Now, for this next part to make sense, it’s important for y’all to know this next character named Hot Rod and his importance, basically in both G1 and IDW (maybe others but we haven’t gotten there yet), Hot Rod is the direct successor to Optimus Prime, becoming Rodimus Prime after getting the Matrix of Leadership himself. In the fic, after a bad encounter with D, Orion runs again and seeks out Hot Rod, trying to see if he remembers anything from the future, if Rodimus was brought back with him. However, being on the run caused him to neglect himself, and he passes out from lack of fuel right after approaching him. Hot Rod brings him into his apartment but the thing is, Orion is supposed to be really good looking and Hot Rod freaks out about it, and I’m sure you can see where this is going, but after Orion wakes up, they talk a bit, kiss, and then it’s implied they bang, and that’s pretty much all.

So yeah that’s the context behind that.

@ThymeToZleep yeah, but I think the issue is the fic was supposed to be one where Orion and D-16 were together (they are still endgame but the readers don’t know that), and the pairing Silk made first is pretty rare considering a lot of other people choose different dynamics, but the story is already planned and she’s not going back on it

@DistantDrifts LMAO all that technicality for an unexpected ending
Ts was humorous to look at, silk's a good writer and even better plot skills

Meant to do this a while ago but Silk’s plans for the third doors book mostly revolved around adding the entities included in the hotel plus update, with Void, Dupe, Snare, and Jeff arriving at the hotel. Void was investigating the hotel’s disappearance and had been for years, and the others had been their assistants in the matter. When they finally located it, however, they were captured by Shadow and imprisoned, and met Seek, who they bonded with shockingly well. Up in the hotel, though, the others were adapting to their new lives and trying to help Hide feel more comfortable, and at some point would be found by GL/Spirit’s sibling Ghost, or Curious Light, who would help them figure out what to do with Shadow while navigating their strained relationship with Spirit. Eventually they’d discover the entities currently held captive by Shadow and begin rescue missions, during which they discover Red, the kitchen head from Glitch’s chapter, was actually called Phantom (based on the Red Light we still don’t know the name of), and was the secret older sister to Spirit and Ghost. She would strike a deal with Shadow to help eliminate the threats they posed, and her very first course of action was killing Ghost. The ending was still getting workshopped but the idea Silk had been entertaining was Shadow joining forces with the few remaining entities to defeat Phantom, then giving up his own life because he didn’t want to be there anymore. Spirit would then cast a spell, locking the hotel and the vengeful ghosts of her old friends in a shadow dimension, occasionally sending out calls for help to try to find humans to help fix things.

Silk reports her idea “lowkey sucked” and is kind of glad she moved on, but that’s about it. Expect the context for her fic and the “falling off” caused by a certain pairing at some point later.
