I started writing fiction in my teens, majored in creative writing in college, and published my first novel in 2012.

I discovered fantasy thanks to Harry Potter and fell in love with the whimsy and wonder of the genre. Lord of the Rings was not far behind. My epic fantasy adventure, Gift of the Phoenix, has won several awards, including Semifinalist in the Kindle Book Review Book of the Year Awards, and Notable Read in the Shelf Unbound/Half Price Books Indie Book of the Year competition. 

Here on Wattpad, I'm sharing The Gathering. The Gathering is Part One of Gift of the Phoenix and is nearly a complete book in and of itself.

Though I wrote Gift of the Phoenix as a stand alone, I left doors open for myself in case I wanted to write another book in that world. Turns out I do. I'm working on it now. :) 

Aside from writing and reading, I enjoy dancing (everything from salsa to swing), karaoke (don't judge me), chocolate, and sunshine. And I mean nice, hot sunshine. Ahhhh.... :)  I also tend to overuse smiley faces, but I'm cool with it.
