I read and write my way through life. Fighting battles on paper or on the screen helps me build my armor for the "real world" It's easier to find reality in fiction. Even though it's hidden between the lines it's clearer then what can sit before your eyes.
I write for strength, for fun, for freedom.
besides, reality is boring.
