@adorable_loser hello! I've been inactive for a while, but I would love to answer this question.
I am a therian. specifically a spiritual therian, I use meditation and feelings, also shifts to recognize my theriotype. I know that I WAS an animal in my past life, and have been reincarnated into this body. I know I am not physically an animal, I have a human body and am fully human now. However I do "identify"as an animal.
Many people think therians are taking away from the transgender individuals by saying they "feel like something they aren't" etc. this is in no way true, misinformed therians often make mistakes when referring to their theriotype, and make a bad rep on the community. some therians (maybe including me) are transgender. we're just living our lives like everyone else here. Some have high paying jobs, go to college, have kids etc. they just, in one way or another, come to find out they identify as an animal, wether it be spiritual or physiological, it doesn't matter.
