Hey beautiful ❤️
I felt the same way.I started my first book, Claimed Your Soul, in November 2022 and finished it in January 2023.But when I began my second book, The Tale of the Broken Hearts ,I just couldn't write it.
I had the entire plot in my head, yet every time I sat down to write, nothing came out.
It took me almost two years to get out of that phase.
Finally, last December,I started writing again. At first,I had no intention of continuing The Tale of the Broken Hearts.
I had a completely new story in my head,so I decided to write that instead, leaving my other two stories unfinished.
That's when I started updating 'Siyaah'.As I kept writing it,I slowly found the motivation to return to 'The Tale of the Broken Hearts' as well, and eventually I did.
I had also left Wattpad for almost two years, even though one of my stories had reached 1 million views.
So I can completely understand what you're feeling right now.
What helped me was writing something I genuinely wanted to write instead of forcing myself back into the story I was stuck on.
If there's one thing I learned,it's that you shouldn't force yourself to write something your mind isn't ready for.
Try writing something you genuinely enjoy, even if it's completely different from your current project.
That's what helped me.
Another thing that surprisingly helped was talking to people-even complete strangers.Listening to their stories, having random conversations, and observing different personalities somehow reignited my creativity.
For me,writing has never been just about the plot. It's always been about the characters.
And meeting different people gave me countless new characters to imagine, which eventually brought me back to writing.
If you ever feel like talking or just want to discuss writing, feel free to reach out.
Love,
Qiana❤️
