Resilient - Evolution, the second book in the Resilient set, is almost done. I only have about a chapter to go. My target was 12 - 14 chapters and just over 50K words and I'm right on point. I also have a goal of throwing in several good cliff-hangers to keep it real. So, the last chapter ... working on the cliff-hangers now. Two more books are planned in this set, but you know how stuff like that goes ... two could be twenty ... or two could be one and a half with a sideways shift where I get side-tracked and finally remember to come back to it a year from now.

Man, I've been a busy little beaver. Reading, and updating, and adding content, and reading some more. It's a good thing that I love my stories so much, because I can't help but spend a lot of time in them :) I need to work on spending more time reading other people's stuff, too. I'm still new to this networking and social media thingy ... and I still have a flip phone.

A good story always deserves a sequel, doesn't it? I decided to continue the story that had begun in Resilient—Inception. I had so much fun writing the first one that there was no way I was going to let this one get away. I just let my mind run with it, and that weird mind of mine didn't disappoint. Come on ... join me in this adventure :)

I guess even my designs for the future are from a Pantser mentality. Instead of working on the Duncan and Lilly stories again, the book "Resilient" decided to jump in the middle of everything. It's all good. I love this story. The first time I got Covid, they put me off work for two weeks and I spent that time researching a Zombie Apocalypse (games, movies ...etc). I decided to just write my own. This is a Zombie Apocalypse vs Alien Invasion. I'm using Artflow for the images.

Looks like I may have accidentally started working on another book of stories :) You know how it is ... you start doing one thing, and then a gazillion other stories fight for dominance in your creative mind. Hopefully, I can finish "Illogies Un" within the next week. The stories have already been written ... I just have to do the artwork and editing. Blankity-blank editing ... but it does let me spend more time in my stories. :)

I got Book Two, "And Such Are Stones," finished now. I think I'll go back and redo the edit and the pics for the Duncan and Lilly stories now. I think the AI-generated pictures are so much better than my Skyrim pictures. Crossing fingers.

I've gotten a good start on another collection of stories based on the "Pearls of the Mother" universe. These are some really cool stories that will give you an idea of the depth of this world. Some are stories with violence and mayhem, and others are almost childlike in their style ... I hope you like them. :)

Thank you to whoever is reading this stuff. We've got the backstory so that you know who the characters are, the beginning to the adventures, and a glimpse into the future. Almost through with the pictures for what I've posted so far. Now it looks like it's time to start digging in to see what this world can offer. :)
