About the Author:  Duane is an avid writer who loves every aspect of the things he writes about.  Whether it's Fantasy, or Science Fiction, or Whimsical ... it's all part of who he is.  He's written a lot of stuff and is finally trying to make it through the publishing process without turning his hair even more gray than it already is. From the Author:  Thank you so much for visiting my profile and checking out what I've got to offer.  There is no greater feeling than to know people are reading my stuff and actually want to read more of it.  I have several stories on here now and would love for people to read and comment.  The universe of Pearls of the Mother has grown way past where I had originally intended.  Things begin to take on a life of their own.  For a writer, especially a "Pantser," it's almost like you are channeling something that has happened somewhere else, and you can see it through your mind's portal to that place instead of actually creating something fresh and new.
     Wonder what's happening in my universe ... I am compelled to go look again.  The voices used to be so quiet ... whispering in the recesses of my unconscious mind ... in my dreams.  They call me now ... louder as I give them more energy, more power ... insistent ... demanding ... I must ...
