omg i finished writing my first song on guitar today! the idea's been floating around my head for a few months, and i finally did it over the course of the last few days! i've written plenty of songs before, but i've never actually put them onto any kind of instrument (except for one that i wrote partially on piano, but that was AGES ago. like, idek, may? april? ages.) and it was so so fun! i'm probs never gonna share the actual song, but i'll tell yall abt it bcs i'm lwk a bit too excited. the title is "hit" because the song is about 'hitting' your teenage years/turning 13. that was an idea from my friend, but we are no longer friends (and fuck it was a messy friendship breakup), so the bridge is actually sort of a message to him. the rest of the song is about being 13, and my experience with life at that age. it's pretty sad, but idk, i like it! the verses are like jubilee line/amazon standing lamp (wilbur soot), because they're plucking shit, and idk, i was inspired by them? idk, i just found it pretty cool:3
