@EddieWelch Bang goes his knighthood in the near future. Presumably she would have growled at a Yes vote. No statesmen at all. Eton really are under performing these days. It seems to be a world wide problem - this week's General Assembly speeches will be soporific and totally ineffective.

@Barzillai Yes it was excellent but I'm still astonished at yet another PM gaff saying that the Queen "positively purred down the phone " when he gave her the news! None of the current lot have any statesman-like qualities.
