I KNOW IT'S BEEN A WHILE! Tl;Dr; stress and school. For my BTW readers, I have some semi-big news:
1) The next burst of chapters will be released at once.
I want to be patient and write the entire "arc" in one go this time, as opposed to uploading one part and then waiting to finish the next. This should lead to a more favorable reading experience.
2) ALL CHAPTERS WILL BE AROUND 5 - 6k-ish here forward.
I mentioned this before, but no more will we drop the 8-9k titan of a chapter. These are meant to be fun and bite-sized. Intermissions will still be shorter ofc.
3) The beginning of this book will not only be remade, but also reimagined. This is the biggest point I wanted to bring up.
When I created the story over a year ago, my vision of the scope, world, characters, and plot was still developing. On top of that, the style is very amateur and not something I'm the proudest of.
I have a much clearer concept of this book and where I want to go with it, and AFTER I DROP THE NEXT BURST OF CHAPTERS, I will take a temporary (no longer than 3-4 weeks) break to create a new model and new introduction of the story.
I'm not sure if I'll simply restart with a fresh upload, or try and write over the old chapters and line things up. Regardless, for the sake of my conscience, it's important that I restructure the book in a way I can feel proud of, and hopefully that passion bleeds into all of you.
