Later today I'll add a chapter or two more to my book. I haven't looked at it for a while. The problem is that there is not enough hours in the day. I've still some commitments out there for my blog. Things should ease up early February. I won't make anymore big commitments so I can get to work on my novel. I'm so pleased to have met you. I hadn't read your message until after I'd written my own to you.

There is another gal, a bit older than those youngsters (she called them that) we met last night. She may be good to make a small group for reading and discussing things. Her name is Carol. I know that she writes romance. I really can't classify what I wrote. It has some romance, intrigue, suspense, and literary qualities. So I'm hoping through our process I can figure out what genre I wrote!

I finished with just over 74k and I loved every minute of writing the thing in November. I started it and finished it in November.

Hello from the Writer's event. Good to see another WattPad writer.

Hi Katy. Thanks for following. I haven't gotten back into my manuscript. I need to spend time doing that, but I've got such a backlog of book reviews. Excuses, right? I wrote my draft novel as a NaNoWriMo project and have since realized I need to learn a lot about writing. I've some authors who are willing to help me. One writer is teaching me how to line edit. What is your genre and are you a 'new' writer or published author?

I haven't looked at it yet. I've been swamped with book reviews and reading. I'm going to have to make time for me and my personal writing.

Eileen, I'm very excited to be following you, as I'm older (58) and have had lots of interesting experiences too, especially over the last three years. In 2010-11, I taught English in Korea and from 2011-13, I lived and worked (teaching again) in the Sultanate of Oman. I too am fascinated by the Middle East and travel. Over these last three years, I've been to 16 countries, including all over Oman, UAE, Jordan, Turkey, Egypt, China, Japan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Ethiopia, India and Nepal. I'm really looking forward to reading your work! I'm so happy to have found a fellow traveler! :-)
