I'm a full time wife and mother of eight, a grandmother, and a published author, which means I have a tendency of zoning out into space every now and then, producing the glazed eye appearance I wear from time to time. I write multiple genres - contemporary romance, romantic fantasy, young adult, and books for children. My romance novels are sweet yet passionate and emotion-driven. I try to write stories that uplift and inspire. They say to write about what you know, so many of my books have a small bit of me in them, I just change the names to protect the innocent, and the guilty:-)
I am also a motivational speaker and I speak to both adult and youth groups. Because my past was a rough and painful one, I try to impress upon others how important we all are, why we are here and help them to recognize their worth. No matter our background or what kind of life we've been handed, we can have anything we want in life. We simply have to understand our worth, decide what we want, then go after it. Each of us can make this world better by being here, make everything we touch and everyone we come in contact with better for it. If I can help at least one person to truly understand this, I've accomplished something.
