Same! I hate that feeling too because it's like a gamble and 65% of the time the fics are cringe. 30% of the times the fics are readable with a few flaws. And then the rare 5% of amazing fics where the characters have a bit more attitude added

You know that feeling where you really wanna read a fic yet at the same time your afraid it will turn out cringe because the characters might be too OOC from their canon counterparts and you don't want to risk having that stuck in your brain so you try to put it off yet at the same time your brain is like "Read The Fanfiction you coward. What's the worst that can happen?"
