@GwenMadoc Thanks, Gwen. It's nice to meet you. :)

I was 12 when I first read 'Cassidy Jones and the Secret Formula'. My mom had gotten them on the Kindle for my sister, and I was intrigued by all things super heroes back then. So, naturally, I read it.
And boy, oh boy, I was hooked.
Within the span of three hours, I had devoured every last page. Cassidy was so realistic and shared so of many of my personality traits that she really spoke to me as a character, and she was the first really fleshed-out female main character I had ever read about. She was earnest and emotional, while still having the tenacity and spirit of any true-blue, breathing human being. [I remember distinctively thinking that my sister shared Cassidy's white hot fury.]
Her adventures kept me entertained that afternoon, which wasn't an easy feat, but that story has stuck with me ever since.

When I realized you were on Wattpad, I just knew I had to reach out and thank you for sharing such an amazing story with the world. Even throughout the years, as my taste in reading has shifted, I find myself picking up the newest 'Cassidy Jones' book whenever one comes out. She's like an old friend at this point, only getting more and more relatable as I have grown. [Her 'adventures' in high school were almost too awkwardly relatable in certain aspects.]
So, as I was saying, thank you; and I'm looking forward for the next adventure.

Hey Elsie! I think I died when I heard you were on wattpad!

Can't wait for th next book of the series. Does it have something to do with the fire Cassidy see's when she is dying? Also, people are saying this but I don't know for sure, dos Emery love Cassidy?

PurplePoptartNinja

@honeydewlover Haha! Well done! I should do the same. But most of my friends are so illiterate. (And I mean that in the most loving way possible! LOL)

I would say that book 4 is my favorite at the moment, but then I was in love with book 3 for the longest time. And I'm sure book 5 will be my new favorite when it comes out, haha. I think it's how much the character relationships are evolving. And by that, I mean Emery-Cassidy-Jared. Let's not kid ourselves!

If you want to help satisfy your Cassidy J craving (and I mean that in a totally non creepy way, lol) the series has its own category on fanfiction.net! There's like 5 or 6 stories. One really good crossover with Supernatural too. Here's the link if you haven't seen them yet: https://www.fanfiction.net/book/Cassidy-Jones-Adventures/ :D

Fingers crossed! Also managed to rope all of my friends into reading it, thanks to the wonders of kindle unlimited!

            P.S
What's your favorite book in the series?

@honeydewlover As an avid, self-proclaimed super fan of the series, (read every book at least four times. Totally not weird.) I think the answer is yes. I think he doesn't know how - or necessarily want to - express it openly at this time, though I do feel that will change some depending on what happens in the Eternal Flame. Been waiting nearly two years for this bad boy (muhuha). I hope it's available for pre-order.

I can't wait! Your my book hero!

I love Cassidy Jones, because I can relate to her, being a girl (age 15) is hard on it's own, I can't imagine it with a secret as big as that! But I'm just here to tell you, you have me as a fan and I can't wait for the next book, and thank you very much for righting the amazing story! (and reading this comment)

Hello, Mintz! Thank you so much! I appreciate that. :) I based Cassidy much on how I remember feeling at her (and your) age, and how I'd likely react if I had suddenly gained superpowers at her age. Those teens years are still fresh.

Hope you're having a great summer vacation! "Cassidy Jones and the Luminous" should be released before it ends, fingers crossed. I'll post the first three chapters here soon.
