Hi,
I fall in love with people wherever I go. I find myself fantasying about their stories - and inevitably imagine up my own narratives. I am forever creating and re-creating stories in my head, imagining all the "what ifs".
I write historic romance, with a little extra spice. My writing explores the human struggle and the power of love. Triumphs. Failures. Pain. Loss. Grief. Love. All things that make us human. As a BIPOC writer, I like a rich backdrop to my love stories, specifically I examine the points of tension between individual struggles within society, as well as their sense of belonging and identity.
With a background in history, I am continuously layering my imagined stories with fascinating facts and historic events. My writings are primarily focused in the Victorian Era (1837-1901) as I find this era one of impressive social change, turmoil, and rebellion.
When I am not writing, I can be found in my vegetable garden talking to the plants, and berating the weeds. Or rediscovering my inner child as I frolic and play with my daughter.
I am always happy to hear from readers. Never hesitate to send a comment or message.
I wish you all the happiness and peace.
