I live in rural Oklahoma.  A small town with a population of 2000, where everyone knows your name and your whole life story.  I work at the local bank which keeps me informed on all the town gossip.
My first book that I voluntarily read was Love Comes Softly by Janette Oke.  After finishing it I felt that there was something missing. I found it in Kathleen E. Woodiwiss novels.  I was infatuated with the historical romance genre. It was everything I was looking for.   I immersed myself in the genre reading hundreds of books each year. Vowing I would write a novel and have it published.  
A bucket list had begun.
Fast forward 15 years, a husband, two children, and a college degree the idea was always in the back of my mind.  Turning 30 with numerous books started and not one finished, I felt depressed. Walking by a coworker's desk I noticed an inspirational calendar. It read "Why not NOW?" Something clicked inside and I couldn't shake it.  
If not today than when? Why not NOW?
