Had a thought, 2 tags that should never be for the same book: anal fisting and pokemon go... Feel free to add your own 2 tags I'm curious
Okay I'm going off again. I think this will be either my 4th or 5th rant, but this one is important. I want to talk about opinions. Everyone has an opinion. You may not agree with it, but you have no right to force that opinion onto someone else. I fully agree with explaining why you believe that, but bullying people into thinking what they believe is dumb is not okay. This should be noted for stories, thats why I'm making this post on here not on my Instagram or facebook or anything like that. If you have characters have a debate in stories, would it not be fair to have the two opinions have the same level of thought put into them? Would you not want to hear proper arguments for both sides? What happens in a lot of these books is that the writer will spit a bunch of dope facts for the main characters opinion on a matter, but then the second character sounds like an idiot because the writer didn't care enough to make all the characters arguments actually intelligent. If you're talking to other people maybe instead of being an asshole and saying some shit about how they're argument is invalid or forcing your beliefs down their thoats, listen for a fucking moment and you might learn something. Or if you're writing a book, write it so that both parties sound like they actually know anything about the subject, even if you don't agree with one of the sides. It just seems like lazy writing and you don't sound like you know what you're talking about. Thanks for reading, hope I helped you become less of a shit person.
@EmpirePebble i was wrong. I was ranting on other people's stuff so this is like my second on my page
thank you for inviting me to your funeral. i’ll bring vodka and condoms.
@brightonfuck is a little bitch. And you should unsubscribe, dislike and band that cocksmuggler. Bet your ass i wont share and retweet you battery sized dick and basketball sized balls. NOW HAND IT OVER
@EmpirePebble I didn't want all of it you bloody fuck sucker I WANTED SOME NOW HAND IT OVER SO I CAN FEAST APOUN IT. (I might have spelt that wrong. Ignore that)
I know this might come off as rude but at this point I'm just mad about it so I don't care. I've been read books on there since I was 14 and I've noticed a lot of writers make "badass, independent" characters. I say that in quotes bc they aren't either of those. Within the first chapter of the book the characters back story is revealed and all of his or hers weaknesses are revealed as well. How is that an independent person if you can't keep your weakness and personal life a secret for more than 1 chapter? There isn't any suspense or wonder and frankly it's just lazy writing. If you were to make an independent, badass character you have to at least take some time for the character to warm up to the person they're telling their life story to. I don't understand how people make stories but aren't patient enough to actually have character development. As soon as all the story is said that character isn't a mystery anymore so whats the point of the rest of the book. That was my rant. If you read it thats and at this point idc if I offended you, learn how to write.
@EmpirePebble I'm glad we are in agreement. If you gonna write don't be shit
i also agree because the majority of wattpad novels are based around these “badass, independent” characters and the fact that the reader can’t get past the first few chapters without hearing and seeing everything about the main character is a major fault on the authors part. not only are they being incredibly impatient, but they have no idea how character development works. if you look at amazing series such as Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones, Tolkien and Martin don’t tell you the characters backstories outright. it takes time to do it and to be able to build up a good character you need to be able to take your time in showing the reader who the character is. usually it’s done by putting them in difficult situations and you learn more about their weaknesses and personalities. you don’t just say “this is Ashley. she’s badass and doesn’t need anyone by her side. she is a fierce woman, strengthened from the fires of her past. *enter entire backstory here*”. you need to work up to that. if you don’t, you make a shitty character with a flat personality and there’s no reason to read the book when the main character has no dynamics. the whole idea of this is stop writing shitty undeveloped characters. if you want to write a book then take the time to write it you nonce. thanks for coming to our ted talk.
