When I read Music for Chameleons by Truman Capote I realized how hard it is to perfect your craft as a writer. He described the act of writing as something to be practiced and fined tuned. Read and reread.

My favourite writers are Tom Wolfe, Truman Capote, and Charles Bukowski. I read non-fiction mostly, but I write poems, short stories, and screenplays.
