Italo Carleti-Dardano is an amateur caricaturist that inmigrated to Canada from El Salvador during the country's civil upraising in the 80's. He is a hardware technology technician specialized on telecommunication and Internet technology. He lives in Toronto, were he lives and has an artist studio at home. Another one of his passions is music singing and learning to play instruments like the Japanese flute, Trombone and trumpet, he has some more instruments catching dust like an accordion, a clarinet and a saxophone, ready to be included into future interests.
He self published a political-comic magazine from 1991 to the year 2000 entitled El Trompudo (In Spanish) (Meaning the "Big Mouth") selling it around the Toronto Subway trains on weekends and during Cultural events.
Faceless Joe, is a Character created during his Childhood, mostly during recesses at school, it was widely followed by schoolmates that passed it from hand to hand until it made it back to the bottom of his desk. Somebody might have preserved it or it might just be published in author's heaven somewhere, who knows, it might be a hero somewhere in Zambia or in an abandoned island in the pacific, or at the bottom of it....
For now, Face Less Joe is being resurrected in the story "faceless" being edited in this site by the author and revised by his Daughter Fabiola Carletti, that experienced first hand the embarrassment of seeing dad approaching total strangers and making them buy multiple copies for them and him/herself. this changed Fabiola's mind so much that she became a professional writer with a master on multimedia!
For now, Italo lives with 2 cats and a dog, a younger daughter and a live in girlfriend...
