            If the circumstances were different, perhaps she would've shown a bit more embarrassment, though it didn't mean there wasn't a small hint of hint when she noticed it was something simple, her face was sheepish. It didn't last long, though before she tilted her head. "I really don't want to cause you any trouble. I don't want Overhaul to come after you, or anything," She began before halting, a frown forming on her face. Her head tilted once again at his question. "Food? That…would be deeply appreciated. Only if it's alright with you, though." Despite that he'd glare at other people, she didn't find him scary. Least not at the moment. Deep down, he appeared to be a kind person, considering how he was helping her out, even if he didn't have to.

            When she jumped and scrambled behind his legs he laughed lightheartedly for how adorable the action was. Looking down the alley it was no more than a mere can that jumped against the trash cans it sat on. Leaning over he picked the kid up into his arms placing her on his shoulder." Don't worry, Pipsqueak. I got ya. Ain't nothin hurting you while Greed's here." He thought for a moment. Kid must be lying with how she looked and where she was. Being a selfish being made of the concept of greed made this a hard choice but she started walking with her in his arms." Whatta ya say, kiddo? You must be hungry. Want some food?" It was odd it felt more like he was treating the kid as a pet more than a person. Tussling her hair with his hand. His height standing out to most people who walked by him sending some people glares or creepy smirks if they stared too long.

            If she was supposed to be taken aback by his red eyes and sharp teeth, she sure didn't show it. Besides, people with superhuman abilities, or quirks as the people around town called them, were very common. In any case, when he held out a finger, she tensed for a second, unsure of what to do. She wasn't sure what to think of the nickname, either and it confused her. "I'm Eri. It's nice to meet you," she replied, before looking at her arms, staring at them before almost seemingly trying to use the fabric of her dress to cover it slightly. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just a few...scratches, that's all." Any attempt to avoid talking about them nearly seemed stopped at that, however, when a gust of wind knocked over something in the alleyway, she darted to hide behind his legs. It was only a few seconds later that she peeked out to make sure the coast was clear.
