A single teardrop streamed down her pale face, of all those emotions she had hid with grace.

  Her breath came out rugged and soulless, she was beat and beginning to know this.

But all she could do was not say what she had been through all those hard days.

  She was abandoned, cheated, and even used, her emotions nothing but abused.

  With only books to get through, with only books to get away. Here books were now and here books would stay, as she continues on her way.

  For her books would never lie or cheat her, for her books would never leave her.
