Man it's been a good long while, hasn't it? Let's try this again then.

So hey, I'm Vik. Formerly the writer known as Darktreader98, I've acknowledged that that's a bananas name to go by, so let's take a step away from that nonsense now. 

I'm an actor now, and I suppose I never really stopped being a writer, but my writing has taken a bit of a leap from "edgy teen writing bloody fanfic" in the last couple years. And as I progress and improve the quality of my work, I find myself thinking back to the projects I never finished. The various white whales of my imagination, and the first real creative outlet I ever had. 

Most significantly, "The Precursors Champion". 

I've never been fantastic at world building. I'm still not, really. But the world of Jak and Daxter is one I loved playing in, and the story I wanted to tell with that is one that I put a lot of heart into in my formative years. 

This is a long winded way of saying that I'm coming out of retirement on this site and I'm going to try and finish this goddamn story. But I'm starting from the ground up on this one; using the bones of the rotted carcass that is that story, I'm going to rewrite what's there, and try my damnedest to actually complete this sumbitch. 

Does playing through the Jak and Daxter Classics collection on PS4 have anything to do with this choice you may ask? Yes, entirely so. And now here we are.
