You may not know this but Ezra has O.D.D which stands for oppositional defiant disorder. This makes it hard for him to follow simple commands. We recently got him reassessed for his diagnosis. We now have a second diagnosis which is has recently been added to the Autism Spectrum. His disorder is called PDA which is pathological demand avoidance. This means that simple instructions cause him great anxiety sending him into a meltdown. You could literally ask him to turn the television on and he could go into a meltdown. Because PDA is an Autism Spectrum disorder that was why Ezra was reassessed because of Emiliah and Everleigh being Autistic. His ODD has not yet been 'undiagnosed' as both conditions match his traits and symptoms. His new diagnosis brought tears to my eyes as well as a smile to my face.
My little Ezra, brave as a bear, sweet as a kitten, happy as a bird and perfect as himself.
All my kids a perfect to me despite their conditions. I will love them unconditionally no matter what happens.
