I'm an athlete at heart, although reading and writing have been passions of mine for most of my life. I also enjoy the great outdoors, the crisp of the Autumn season and the incredibly beautiful foliage within it. I love taking risks and learning new skills when others aren't willing to. I competed in cross-country and track and field in high school, and I'm currently a 3rd-degree black belt in Taekwondo and a blue belt in a mix of karate and kung fu. I am also working as a mechanical engineer after graduating in 2023!

Inspirations in my life include Steve Prefontaine (a running legend), Suji Kang (a 4-time world Taekwondo champion in poomsae), my parents who've helped me obtain a unique yet down-to-earth outlook on life, my fiance who provides so much happiness and love in my life (and who I'm so lucky to be with in the first place), and those who come upon success even when chances are terribly slim or distant. These things motivate me to stay positive and keep moving forward when it's most important.
