Thank you to everyone here! You’ve all been so kind and amazing to me over the years, but more importantly to me and my heart, recently! I cannot express how much I appreciate all of you! I decided to do small donations I had listed in my friends memory, plus while out eating lunch today with my daughter and grandson, we noticed several older gentleman eating alone, so I decided to pay for their meals as I paid for our lunches.

I need some opinions, please and thank you. I want to make a donation in my friend’s memory, but can’t decide where. Little helpful info. - she had Spina Bifida, and spent a lot of time in and out of a big university hospital when we were younger, and so her mom, my mom and I spent a lot of time at the local Ronald McDonald House that was near the hospital.
So, should I donate in her memory to -
1. The Ronald McDonald House we spent time
2. Spina Bifida Foundation
3. A Local Food Bank
4. A Local Animal Shelter (she loved animals)
5. Another Option

@Ezra_Ann_ I would say Ronald McDonald House. I had an accident when I was almost two and my parents stayed at a Ronald McDonald House so they could remain near me

I was gonna say the Ronald McDonald House, because they do amazing things for families during hard times. But Mailee99 had an amazing suggestion. You can always split the money 4 ways, and donate to all 4 choices.
@Ezra_Ann_ I'm so sorry for your loss. All those are wonderful options for your donations - I am leaning towards the Animal Shelter myself -
5 hours ago my best friend of almost 39 years died. She’d been battling on-going health issues. I’m a mess of emotions at the moment. I hope she knows how much I loved her like a sister, and I hope she’s no longer in pain.
