Ugh, I’ve been sick for about 5 days with this crud that’s been going around, and I’m sick of being sick!

So along with doing some writing, I’ve been doing some ancestry searching, too, while waiting for my dna stuff to come back. Man, it’s been wild to see all the names of family long past, their names, the time when they lived, etc!
@jrzy79 wow that's some family secret to uncover, although I do know most of my family tree there's some question as to who my granddad on my mothers sides father was, suspected links to royalty of some description, but all the evidence was tampered with so we will probably never know
I need to do that myself. My mom found out in 2001 that her father was not her father and her sperm donor is actually an Italian mob from the 40s and 50s. While my grandfather was away in Korea my grandmother was raped and my mom was the result of that. So now all my life I thought I was Scottish and Irish but now Italian? I don't know who i am anymore but it kinda explains my love for pasta lol jk

On a happier note for today, ‘Left At The Alter’ has been updated, and will be updated again next week Tuesday.
I’m irritated enough to touch on this subject- little kids don’t clearly pronounce words, if this or an author writing kids speaking typically how they speak by not “pronouncing” words correctly, there’s no need to finish the story or be a jerk by commenting rude and vulgar comments. I’ve just blocked someone for bi$&hing about this.
@Ezra_Ann_ good for you. that kind of nonsense does not belong. It is not even close to being constructive criticism. it's just an idiot ranting for no other reason than to get nastiness out. i find the way little kids mispronounce words and names both sweet and funny. many nicknames in my family have come about in that way. just keep doing you - you are a terrific writer and i have very much enjoyed the books you've written that i have so far read.
