I lost someone to suicide a short while ago. Still feels like yesterday. It was my music teacher. Nobody had seen it coming, not his parents, not his best friend, definitely not his students. I had convinced myself that if someone was being driven to the point of ending their life that there would be signs. Little indicators, no matter how subtle. I was wrong. Most of the time there aren't signs. You don't know what anybody is truly thinking or feeling at any time. So I guess this serves as my reminder to you to check up on those around you. Remind them they are loved and cared about. Remind them how important they are. Sometimes you may need to remind yourself. That's okay.
Spread kindness. Please.
