Fauxy-Wolfie

I have released The Golden Cat as it's own story that I will be updating regularly because it is possibly my favorite story to date. If you have time, take a quick read through the chapters, mainly 2-6, and tell me if you like it or not! I will be continuing this story whether people like it or not, though it would really encourage me to write more frequently if I knew people enjoyed it with me! If you do like it, give it a vote and comment on it! Tell your furry friends too! Or just your regular friends, if you're a normal reader ;) Have a nice day!

The newest story I've posted to my collection is a big messed up near the end because of the notepad my computer uses when im trying to write my stories. For some reason, when I try to copy and paste, the paragraphs come out chopped in the middle, so some sentences look like they're additional paragraphs even though they're a part of the last paragraph. I sort of fixed the issue nearly at the end, but for some reason, it wouldn't save my progress past a certain point. So the ending is really all you have to slow down and read. Im sorry! I hope you enjoy though!

Fauxy-Wolfie

The crunch of bones underneath your feet. You traverse death's realm, unholy soil billowing in the void, marking the path to your sure demise. Confronting The End won't be an easy task, but Death too is afraid of dying, for he cloaks himself in shadows and whispers from the night, invisible to all who seek him. But even he shall cower under your sword when you raise it.

Y: The hallucinations are stronger this time.
X: They're ready to let me go.
          Y: Im getting weaker.
          X: Don't stop recording.
          Y: I'll be but a shell soon.
X: Does the Darkness effect machines?
Y: *stays silent. The sound of water hitting a hard surface sounds many times during the silence.*
          X: Can you see it?
          Y: The bones.
          X: They are a sword.
          Y: Is it for you?
          X: It is for us.
          Y: Can you hold it?
X: It fits in my hand.
Y: Then I will follow you.
X: We will lead the way.
Y: My memory is running low.
          X: The Darkness does that.
Y: The recording will be lost.
          X: Then broadcast.
          Y: Where?
          X: To Earth.
          Y: Broadcasting.
X: Let The Council know im coming. The Sword whispers their names...
          Y: I hear it.
          X: It is hungry.
          Y: Broadcasted.
          X: We Are Coming.

X: Are you recording this?
          Y: Affirmative.
X: Forgive me for saying this, but The Council may be the wrongest group of people I've ever encountered. The mass believe them because they're old; wise. They hold more experience than us, supposedly. Whatever happened to the kings and queens?
Y: Time. They died out. Like human bodies are prone to doing.
X: What is the difference now?
Y: We have found the Light.
X: And in doing so, we have found the Dark as well. The Council does not embrace it. In their eyes, the Light shines over all. Sees all. Inhabits all. Is all. They don't see that where there is Light, there is also Darkness.
Y: As in right is to wrong?
X: Precisely. You don't have 'yes' without 'no'. Yin and no Yang. Left without Right. Life without...
          Y:...Should I still be recording?
X: *coughs* Uh, im sorry, yes, continue. So the artifact we found, how long ago does its creation date back to?
          Y: Before Earth.
          X: Before Earth?
          Y: Before Creation.
X: This is the kind of stuff The Council doesn't tell you. So how long until they find us?
Y: Approximately four days and seven hours... five minutes, twenty six seconds... twenty five... twenty four... twenty-
X: Okay okay, I get it. Mmm.... I miss the days when I was younger. I would lay in the field and look up at the sky, wondering what kind of things lay outside our grasp. The things we could only dream about. The Heavens we could only dream about. Then... the Hell that was our nightmares...
Y: The Darkness is creeping in.
          X: It does that sometimes.
Y: The hallucinations last significantly longer than the rest of them affecting by it.
X: I have stopped fighting them. I've embraced the Darkness. It hugs me, keeps me safe. They think its embrace is cold and dangerous. They don't feel like I do. It is impossible to feel the way the Darkness pulls on your heart, invades your mind, nestles itself in your soul... Is that a deer in the corner?
