As Deku and I chased him throughout the subway encounter, we had finally managed to confront him. Although, I had a slight feeling something was off.
"If you let us see what's inside the case, then we'll let you go," Deku said. Rody stopped in his tracks, glaring right back at Deku.
"What do you take me for, a liar? Like I told you, this is for business reasons hero. Including the fact you're harassing and threatening an innocent civilian. So it's best if you leave me alone." Rody said, pointing his fingers right at Deku's chest. Pino yelling at Deku additionally.
Now that's where I draw the line! Nobody accuses my friends like that!
"Hey! If you're going to point fingers then I suggest pointing at yourself. You were involved with the robbery getaway, right?" I angrily questioned him with a glare, bits of fire producing from my skin. He slowly looked at me in bewilderment and in. . . awe?
I mean, I did make a valid point.
"Well, aren't you a cutie?" He said flirtatiously, looking at me. A red hue had spread across my cheeks as I got surprised by the sudden nickname.
"First off, don't call me that. Secondly, hand over the case, so we don't have any problems here." I said with my hand out, trying to be serious. I don't think being serious wasn't working at the moment.
'God, is it that hard for me to try and be serious for once without an attractive male in front of me?'
"Why thank you, cutie for the compliment." He smirked, winking at me. Pino turned around, hiding her blushing face from me. 'He heard me? Please tell me I didn't have my telepathy on. . . ' I thought as my blushing red face got worse.
Before I could say anything else, Deku tried snatching the case away from Rody's grasp, but he fought back for it as well. Pino landed on my shoulder, nuzzling her head on my chin. 'Oh my lord, they're so cute' I thought with a content face.
