Fiercely independent 23-year-old medical intern Helen is left all alone after the death of her only family member, friend, and confidant--her sister Karishma. And the person responsible, 31-year-old hunky and brilliant theater actor Vinay, is now after her ancestral Mumbai house, her only means to paying off her steep debt.

Her plans to stop him by exposing his criminal secrets and getting him jailed are forestalled when he starts putting on what appears to be a real-life act, calling himself Mr. Sunday, a character he plays on stage. 

Undaunted and unguarded in equal measure, Helen sets off on mission vengeance, soon recklessly careening into harm's way on a bizarre journey that ends up shaking to the very core her concepts of identity, faith, love, mental health, and medical possibilities--transforming her from the inside out.
